is plenty to keep one busy here.
The Old Town area and Florence Harbor are popular attractions. You can
stroll along the harbor or thru Old Town
where you will
find numerous
shops and restaurants. In the
Florence area there are a number of motels, additional shops and
restaurants. When you're looking for something to eat you
have your choice from fast food restaurants for a quick meal to fine
dining. While you'll find a variety of foods
available,
seafood and clam chowder are well represented on the menu.
I haven't tried every eating place in Florence yet, but here are two
I can recommend. First for a quick meal drop by the A&W
Family Restaurant, 17th St & Highway 101. Great folk, good
food and a newly remodeled dining area. Next is Benny's
International Cafe, 1517 Highway 101 where breakfast and lunch only are
served.
Looking for a campground or RV park, there are a number of them to
choose
from. For those interested in golfing there are two golf courses to
enjoy. If you are into hiking there are numerous trails to chose along
the central Oregon coast. Whatever your hiking abilities are, you will
find a trail right for you.
and Heceta Head Lighthouse which is located north along
with the
Sea Lion Caves. Also a popular area is Cape Perpetua.
