Larwood
Covered Bridge
Larwood Wayside Park

The Larwood Covered Bridge was built in 1939 and is 105 feet in
length. It is located adjacent to the Larwood
Wayside Park which offers picnicking and swimming to visitors and
residents alike. This small park is where
Roaring River flows into Crabtree Creek. which is an unusual event, as
creeks normally flow into rivers.

The small bridge in the left photo links a parking area with the
Larwood Wayside Park. It crosses over the Roaring
River since the photo to the right. Crabtree Creek is seen
in the background of this photo. Larwood Covered
Bridge can be seen in the background of the photo on the
left. The park is a place to enjoy a lazy summer day.
The left photo of Crabtree Creek was taken from Larwood Covered
bridge. The right photo shows the covered bridge
with adults and children making use of the creek that flows underneath
it.

Larwood Covered Bridge is located on Fish Hatchery Dr,
near the intersection with Larwood Dr.
