The first bridge was constructed in 1890. That
bridge was eventually removed in 1953, but until 1936 it had continued
to
serve as foot bridge. The existing 90 foot structure was
built and full length window was added. This give some nice
views of Fall Creek which the bridge crosses. It was temporarily
closed in 1986 for repairs but regularly carries traffic.
Bike tours though the area include this along with nearby Lowell and
Pengra bridges in their rural tours.
